Herd Sires

We spend a lot of time looking at different sires trying to find the right match and fit for the best results in our herd. From our walking bulls to the AI sires, we look at things like structure (solid feet and legs), backgrounding into the sire and dam sides for a glimpse into what the future might hold for the bull we are looking at. On the EDP charts we are looking for calving ease, moderate birth weights, strong maternal traits, paired with good weaning and yearling gains. These things usually mean a decent size calf with lots of vigor and growth to develop and become part of our growing herd.
